Cannabis Beverage Sector Heating Up

      A recent report predicts cannabis beverages to be one of the fastest growing segments of the cannabis industry.  Although expected to expand by 155.28  million between 2020-2024, an increase of 19%, cannabis beverages businesses do face challenges. The Cannabis Beverage Association (CBA)  was formed earlier this year to address some of the issues the sector may face going forward, while assuring infused beverages are safe and reliable, Forbes reports.  

David Quintana, lead lobbyist for the CBA told Forbes, “As a pioneer in this industry it was clear that the specific issues faced by the infused beverage sector were not being addressed.  We created the CBA so we can now ensure that decision-makers hear our voice and understand that what works for other sectors sometimes does not work in ours."
